I have had 10 years of elementary teaching experience in all core subjects as well as tutoring experience in school as well as outside of the school setting. I have a Masters as a Reading Specialist. I truly believe that being a tutor is extremely beneficial for the teacher as well as the student. When a student is being tutored they are able to receive the one on one attention that they can rarely get in the classroom, thus leading them to increases their academic as well as social and confidence levels. It helps the tutorer to really get to know the student and help them focus on what they need in a timely manner.
